Punky Brewster

L'il Sis dressed herself today, as she does most days. The headband is supposed to make her hair look "fancy." I wondered a bit about some color choices but decided she was channeling Punky Brewster. So this is how she looked as we headed out the door to preschool this morning.

Just the fact that she would willingly choose to put on tights suggests she might not be my child after all. As a child, my sister was known to ask for tights and change her clothes several times a day (something else that L'il Sis does). Somehow I ended up with my sister's child.

OMG - she does look like Punky Brewster there! Wow flashback! She's still as cute as can be!

She does have some Punky Bresterness about her. When did she start looking so grown up?

I think she looks adorable! And yes, a little Punky Brewster-ish. The only thing missing is a bandana and a ponytail!

At least she's dressing herself. I teach preschoolers who can't even put their own socks or shoes own...geez!

Adorable! And good for you Mom that you let her have some independence in the choosing.

I hadn't thought of Punky Brewster in YEARS till I read that title--and I have to say, I see a bit of her in that girl of yours!Except... I'd have to say yours is cuter! Love the creativity. ;)
