little artist

This is not a new thing for L'il Sis, but it has been awhile since she's done this. But this week, she did it TWICE! One day, she was coloring in her coloring book (like one is supposed to do), when suddenly I hear, "Mommy, I color my cheeks!" With a pen! Fortunately, it came right off with a baby wipe. Then a few days later, I find the archway into the living room has been "decorated" with a pencil. Cinderella got to clean up her handiwork with a Magic Eraser. I went over it to make sure it was all gone, but she managed to get the bulk of it off. You'd think that will teach her not to color on things other than paper. But I doubt it!

I totally feel your pain. Baylee "knows" not to color on anything but paper, but yet...

We had a Sharpie stick figure on a brand new dresser. That goo-be-gone stuff really does work.

Lil Sis looks soooo grown up with the new haircut. No one would ever guess her true age!

What cute pictures! Her little face is adorable. I miss Magic Erasers here in France. If we have kids, I'll have to have them imported : ) My younger niece once wrote her name on the wallpaper, when my sister asked her about it, she blamed her older sister. Not too crafty, although she’s growing up to be quite smart!

Hmm . . . have I missed any stories about hair cuts? You know, the ones they do to themselves or to their younger siblings? I was teaching 1-2nd graders last summer and we did a scissor activity. As I was walking around checking their progress I noticed a CLUMP of hair under one of the little girl's chairs. Fortunately, I didn't get any phone calls on that one . . .

Seems like that may in your next weeks' archives! Fun stories, though, hmm?

Purple is apparently the "in" color this year. I have a picture of Baby K very similar to the one above. I'm sure the wall coloring is headed my way soon.
