just another great gene...

I started finding curly white hair in my straight brown hair while in college. Yes, college! Recently, I noticed a single white hair in the back of my 3 year old's mop of brown hair. Guess that's at least one gene she inherited from me.

Wow. Actually I found one on my 14 year old daughter. I started going grey at 27 I guess. It was right after we had three weeks notice that we were moving overseas. Ugghh. The military made me grey!

Isnt it funny the ways that you see yourself in your kids? Just a reminder they really are half of you!

Yeah. I started to go gray early, but not that early. Hopefully it was just a stray hair. My nephew had the opposite problem. He is the lightest blond and he had one dark hair. It went away not be seen again.

I will NEVER know if that happens to me....as I have not seen my real hair color since 1994! To be perfectly honest....I have NO recollection what that color even was! :)

At least she'll never have that moment of shock when she stumbles across her first white hair as an adult having grown up with one ; )

I have no sympathy for your or Lil' Sis. ;)
You'll understand when you see my hair in March....
(Oh, I'll probably have it freshly dyed tho!)

I've actually, factually got gray roots at age 35. Not a few grays here or there... gray roots! And with my dear hubby's white hair... my children don't have a chance. I think Eli has more than 2 grays right at this moment at age 9.

Aaaagh.
